The 2016 Minnesota Dairy Health Conference is an annual, world-class continuing education opportunity for people in the dairy industry. It provides participants with the latest developments in dairy production science, health, management, and food quality. It is presented by the Department of Veterinary Population Medicine, College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Minnesota.
2016 Conference topics focus on the overall feeding, health, and environmental care of dairy animals. Presenters will be University of Minnesota Veterinary Medicine dairy researchers, a large-scale dairy producer, dairy feed and health product representatives, and USDA and State of Minnesota officials.
New this year is a reception and social hour on Thursday afternoon.
Participants can choose from three exciting workshops on Wednesday May 18, 2016:
- All-day session (8h CE): Food Armor© will present a six-section plan for proper drug use on the farm
- Morning session (4h CE): Use of DC305 for Assessment of Health Events on Dairy Farms
- Afternoon session (4h CE): Improving Feeding Management with TMR Audits
